Taiwan-Japan 33 Guanyin Cultural Exchange Press Conference Successfully Held

The International Culture and Education Charity Foundation held the press conference for the “Taiwan-Japan 33 Guanyin Cultural International Alliance” on February 20 at the International Conference Hall of the Institute of Applied Force Research at National Taiwan University. The event saw enthusiastic attendance from distinguished guests, including former Legislative Yuan Speaker Wang Jin-pyng, Director of the Religious Affairs and Ritual Department of the Ministry of the Interior Lin Qing-qi, Director of the Chinese Mahayana Buddhist Association Lin Qing-qi, Elder Jiei Yun, President of the Chinese Mahayana Buddhist Association, Master Fa Zang, Director of the Buddhist Satellite Compassion Television Station, Master Tian Yue, Chairman of the Taipei Buddhist Association, Master Xing Yan, Abbot of Amito Mountain Buddha Temple, and Master Da Zheng, Abbot of Guang Xian Ksitigarbha Temple.
The Japanese representatives included Mr. Okajima Hiroshi from the Taiwan-Japan Exchange Association, Mr. Shihara Yukiharu, President of the Chichibu 34 Guanyin Pilgrimage, Mr. Kawada Kosei, President of the Bando 33 Guanyin Pilgrimage, the Vice President of the Saikoku 33 Guanyin Pilgrimage, and the Japanese exchange delegation.

The International Culture and Education Charity Foundation, with the goal of “benefiting the nation, caring for the disadvantaged, and creating hope,” continues to invest in charitable and Buddhist activities. The foundation’s chairperson, Ms. Tanabata Motoko, in her speech, stated that Guanyin Bodhisattva has a deep-rooted foundation of faith across East Asia, representing compassion and wisdom, and is the spiritual support for many believers. With the establishment of the Taiwan 33 Guanyin, we will carry forward this noble mission, bringing compassion and blessings to all faithful.
